Letter to President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce for CIFRS
On 14 April 2020, the General Department of Taxation (“GDT”) has issued Letter No. 9839 to request the preparation of annual income tax returns for the year 2019 and guidelines on submission of annual income tax returns for the year 2020 in accordance with Cambodian International Accounting Standards (“CIAS”) and Cambodian International Financial Reporting Standards (“CIFRSs”), respectively.
The GDT has approved the request letter of the President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce in the implementation of using CIAS in annual income tax returns for the year 2019. The GDT has advised to use CIFRS for annual income tax returns starting from 01 January 2020.
